The camera of the Alpha Innotech FluorChem 8800 Imager housed in GeneLab has recently been losing sensitivity affecting both chemiluminescent applications and the viewing of traditional PCR gels. The camera has been replaced and the imaging software upgraded. With the addition of the camera and new software, the FluorChem 8800 is now a FluorChem HD2 unit.

Functions and ease of use remain the same. There are a few added features which will be highlighted at the end of the month during a training session. More information about the training will issued as it becomes available. In the meantime, please contact Thaya (578-9708) if you have any questions.
