BioMMED Service

All BioMMED service functions are provided to LSU-based investigators on a charge back basis. Typically, LSU researchers are charged only the costs of supplies, while most of the personnel costs are provided via support of participating LSU units.

BioMMED will host a seminar highlighting the Model 110L Microfluidizer Processor by Microfluidics Corporation. Seminar will be held on Wednesday, April 7 in Room 2101 at 10am.

Topics to be discussed include: drug discovery, cell disruption and protein purification, protein crystallography, drug formulation and disease diagnostics. You can learn more about the equipment in relation to vaccines, nano-particle reductions, micro-emulsions and dispersions. Please register for seminar by contacting Ms. Li Huang or Thaya Guedry.
